Core Curriculum has been a subject here recently, since JunkScience.com aficionados are naturally inclined to pedagogical matters.
Even as diagnosticians or analysts junkscience devotees are obligated to consider, for example, the vectors and etiologies of the ignorance that create and allow junk science.
If junk science is the product of corruption and ignorance–we probably should be concerned about primary, secondary and higher education curricula.

Redesigning and renovating the educational system could be done easily. And the impact salutary or damaging.
The infrastructure of true believer teachers is in place for the damaging form of devolution of education to a Deweyite mush of social pablum, covered by a thin patina of the information load available to anyone with a computer, even an I phone or tablet.
Access to knowledge may be quick and good, but does the information often unpacks to a user sans wisdom or perspective.
Every generation in America brings us a little closer to public education as a tool of socialism, mediocrity, shallow scholarship, and the canon of political correctness and post modernist relativism/nihilism. Junk science slides into that tasteless conformist gruel very easily.
