Hell the way things are going these days governments don’t even need a pretext to strip away freedoms they will just do it by fiat and no one stops them.
Science by consensus isn’t good, but the reason these AGW folks were able to feed at the trough so long with their fake science, is because the public believed them. Now with public support fading, the science of consensus will have a harder time – in 5 years or so getting funding.
We really have a problem with government funding. Too much of the research is bogus.
It’s better than the 97% fairy tale, but still, science by consensus? Says something about climate science if they have to vote on it.
