Earlier today we notified Angelo State University that it was erroneously advertising Michael Mann as a Nobel prize winner for an Oct. 28 seminar. Here’s how they responded.
“Climate change will take the spotlight as internationally known scientist and Nobel Peace Prize-winner Dr. Michael E. Mann addresses Angelo State University”
I’m not convinced they changed anything.
Kudos to ASU for fairness and honesty. Now maybe Mr. Milloy or other credentialed worthy should contact ASU to present the skeptic case.
Now if we could just get Mike Mann to do likewise.
Sweet, at least they admitted the mistake and corrected it. Bravo for the school.

The Nobel website stipulates that a Nobel prize cannot be revoked or appealed.
Michael Mann should sue whoever decided to revoke his Laureate status!
🙂
Wonder if Mikey will cancel because of the insult.
New headline-
“Renowned climate scientist stripped of Nobel Prize”
They did fix it! I’m impressed!
I can see Angelo State from my front window.
Things move slowly in the western autumn days.
They’ll get around to it eventually.
Did they reduce his speaking fee accordingly? If I was expecting a Nobel Laureate scientist – and got Mike Mann instead, I’d want a huge reduction.
I’m sure they are just getting around to it.
I tried to verify. Found this:
