The bill to put back on store shelves Primatene Mist failed in the House yesterday by a vote of 229-182. Big Pharma apparently convinced enough Republicans that asthma inhalers ought to be less accessible and more expensive.

What does President Obam have to say about this, why doesn’t he insist that Primatene Mist be allowed back on the shelves with the ones that are in the warehouse, I’m sure if his daughter’s had Asthma and they used Primatene Mist Rescue inhaler there wouldn’t even have to be a vote to pass he would make sure it was available over the counter before he would let one of his daughters almost die from not breathing. What a cruel world this is.

All this bill tried to do was allow the remaining inventory of inhalers to be sold. The people who voted against this should be ashamed of themselves.
If it works, ban it! If it doesn’t work or is detrimental, make it manditory.
