The Edmonton Journal reports:

New flame retardants meant to replace their toxic predecessors are showing up in the air around the Great Lakes in increasing concentrations and travelling as far north as the Arctic.

  1. How ’bout water? It’s a flame retardant and when do we get a “study” showing how “toxic” it is?

  2. The choice is an easy one: inhaling barely detectable levels of barely potent toxins, or burning to death.
    This is an archetypical ‘no-brainer.’
