‘Black Day’ for warmism in Australia: New PM abolishes Climate Commission, begins to scrap Climate Change Authority

The Australian reports:

THE Climate Commission has been abolished and work has begun to scrap the Climate Change Authority (CCA) in what has been described as a black day in the fight against global warming in Australia.

Headed by 2007 Australian of the Year Tim Flannery, the commission was set up two years ago by the former Labor government to increase public awareness of climate-change science.

  1. President Obama was right, elections really do have consequences. Even applies half way around the world. Let’s hope Europe follows Australia’s lead. For conservatives, “what would Jesus do?” is a guiding principle. For liberals, “what would Europe do?” is is at least as important.
