The Egypt temperature graph does look a bit like Mann’s, hide the decline, hockey stick graph. I wonder why the total information gaps about 1985 and 1995. Odd that ALL records would be lost in fairly recent years.

This looks more to me like a stepped pyramid scam. The flagrant discontinuity between data from the late 80’s and the late 90’s should raise red flags over comparisons. There’s too much to explain to rationalize the gap. Best just break it into ‘historical’ and ‘recent’ data sets.
I didn’t know the Egyptians played hockey…..
