National Review reports:
Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell’s declaration that there will be no “climate change deniers” in her department is not totalitarian, but it is arrogant and anti-scientific, Dr. Charles Krauthammer said on Special Report.
“The entire idea of science is that you are open to contrary evidence—it’s the definition of a scientific theory,” Krauthammer said, and he declared the fact that government bureaucrats and “political hacks” are calling climate change a settled science “scandalous.”
Send in the clown….oh, wait,,, he’s here
Actually it was Copernican Theory, and Galileo expanded upon it. And the Church was actually for the most part on his side of the issue- except some academics who backed the Aristotilean theory, twisted Galileo’s writings to make it look as though he was pissing on the Pope- who happened to be a friend of his.
They do have a special place in the after-life: it’s called Carbon…and one day they will be: coal and oil.
Now, that’s what I call revenge.
This is the same “Robert L. Bell” commenter who said he was going to pass on joining Steve Milloy’s “little cult”. https://junkscience.com/2013/08/13/obama-warmists-outnumbered-4-to-1-by-skeptics-at-alabama-congressmans-office/comment-page-1/#comment-143889
Secretary Jewell requires 100% consensus.
If religious and scientific consensus (against Galileo’s theory) ruled the laws of nature and the universe, the earth would still be flat and the center of the universe.
“Scientists” who disregard facts should have a special place in the after life.
