His green buddies may have something to say about that.
Obama said in his State of the Union address:
But there’s no reason why Congress shouldn’t at least set a clean energy standard that creates a market for innovation. So far, you haven’t acted. Well tonight, I will. I’m directing my Administration to allow the development of clean energy on enough public land to power three million homes.
Given the 20% availability of most “clean energy” projects, does this mean 3 million homes when it all runs? Or maybe 3 million at a typical availability.
It probably means that Obama-favored “clean” energy projects won’t be saddled with the same environmental roadblocks that their competitors are. Yes, government is in the business of “picking winners” again.
Allow? What’s that supposed to mean?
