The comments on the WashPost web site are initially entertaining, but quickly devolve to a schoolyard mudfight, as many of these conversations tend to do.
Yes, the George W. Bush administration did do some whacky things and there were many instances of corporate cronyism, particularly around Pentagon activities. But with George W. Obama we have more or less the same thing, with only a changing cast of recipients, and for different ideological reasons. But still the money flows and these corporatist/government scams against the the public continue.
When will the American people recognize the inherent and pervasive corruption that comes from too much money in Washington.
