Not for nothing but zero people were indicted for the ‘financial meltdown’ of 2008-09. I guess Wall Street has the ability to feather Rep nests and Dem nests equally to keep ‘them’ off their back. I wonder what Exon has in their war-chest to keep the Feds at bay?
Well, “Acetech”, I do believe that you pretty much nailed the larcenous government of the strangely parasitoidic little foreign country that’s called The District of Columbia right in one or two of their tender spots. I think Mark Twain also nailed it when he said, “Patriotism is supporting your country all the time and your government when it deserves it.” We have few governments at any level: Not local, not state and certainly not federal, who are deserving of the support — or of the respect — of patriotic Citizens of the fifty states of The United States of America.
Think eviction, not secession. Uncle Sam is a zombified creepster.
I have noticed over time that government is in the business of creating criminals. There are so many laws, rules, and regulations that any official can arrest, fine or jail anybody they target. What has become apparent is the number of people working on public money is out of control. And they all belong to some union whose goal is to squeeze as much money out of the public as possible. It’s my belief that the quality of living for the public has gone down, while the public employees salary and benefits have gone up.
