Climate change and pets: More fleas, more heartworm

Not sure what a slight change in mean global temperature over 100 years has to do with anything, but…

  1. Full floor carpeting and constant benign temperatures brought about by central heating and air-conditioning might have something to do with it.
    Not many pets live outside so they would not be subject to global warming.
    Now, cows and horses……
