Pipedream. Barring some unimaginable catastrophic event or large-scale Middle East war, fracking has killed energy prices for the foreseeable future. So there’s no money to be made other than by ripping off consumers.
From the NYTimes:
The Big Lie of “clean energy” is that the footprint of costs related to {allegedly} “clean energy” is merely shifted to areas that are harder to track and account for on a ledger sheet than those associated with traditional energy sources.
“Clean Energy” is only “clean” as long as these costs are ignored. When all of the costs are correctly and accurately accounted for the “benefits” of “clean energy” are reduced to a point where they can no longer be justified on any rational basis other than as ongoing research and development.
