Even if he is right about the money spent on countering the propaganda by himself and fellow warmist scare-mongers, that is puny compared to the BILLIONS being given to the eco-terrorists like ‘hockey-stick’ Mann and others by US and other Governments and Billionaires like Soros, Steyer, Gates, and the Oracle of Omaha!
This is rich! Accusing these companies of funding research which disagrees with Mann’s results which were funded by government and other entities that have a vested interest in producing research that agrees with the climate change theory. What’s the difference. It all comes back to that which is happening in our society as a whole – the left wants you to shut up unless you agree with their persepective and view. Orwell’s view in 1984 aeems to be getting closer and closer.
Technically, he says “willing to spend”. Hard to prove/refute/quantify a non-timebound “willingness”. I am willing to spend billions to message against Mann.
Very typical of committed progressives to accuse the opposition of neferious activities that the left is extremely guilty of. If Exxon and the Koch Brothers are involved in anything related to climate change I’m sure they are both focused on two critical areas: 1) making sure our government doesn’t make policy decisions that will be extremely detrimental to our socioeconomic health, and 2) funding research to determine the actual causes of climate change. Both of these goals, while critical to our society and scientific advancement, would be extremely threatening to Mann, his entire reputation and funding is completely tied to the AGW hypothesis. If (when) this hypothesis is finally debunked, he will go down in history, along with Gore, as the two criminals who put their personal desires, wealth, and reputations above the socioeconomic health of our civilization. Their only hope is that this world-wide fraud will not be exposed until after they “cross over.”
