JunkScience has done it again.
I was alerted this morning that Jagadish Shukla, the professor and climate profiteer leading the charge to have skeptics investigated under RICO, had falsely claimed to be a Nobel prize winner on George Mason University’s web site. See image below.
I wrote to George Mason University to inform it of the fact that Shukla was not a Nobel winner. By this evening, GMU took away Shukla’s fake Nobel. See image below.
This is the second time this week JunkScience did this. Earlier in the week, we had Youngstown State University remove yet another fake Nobel from hokey stick inventor Michael Mann.
Good grief! What is WITH these people?!?
I see people who never served in the military lying their asses off about that, just to get attention and benefits they didn’t earn. It’s called Stolen Valor.
It is the very LAST thing I expect to see in the science community, where validity is of paramount importance.
Is this the definition of a QUACK?!?! I’ve received the Nobel Peace prize 164 times myself alone. ha-ha!!!

Is it Shukla or Shmukla?
I was an author on that thing as well, also an advisor and peer reviewer (let me tell you what a joke that process is!), so I guess I could claim to be a sharer in the Nobel Peace Prize. But that would put me in the same category as the Goracle and Shulka, and my ego is too fragile to stand up to that – I would perish of acute embarrassment.
Jeez, the way these creeps hang onto this thing you would think it’s a real Nobel Prize. It isn’t, it’s a Nobel PEACE Prize.
It is just a bit of political theatre and has nothing whatsoever to do with science. That should be the clue for anyone who is interested. It was a political prize given to a political body and a politician for pretending to be scientific for achieving political ends.
The IPCC and Al got a Nobel Peace Prize and clowns like Shukla and Mann and Trenberth strut about preening as if there was something scientific about it. How fragile their egos must be that causes them to cling to this ridiculous bit of paper, hell Europe won it once does that make all Europeans winners?
Obama won it just for being elected president, apparently. It is just a bit of nonsense worth less than an Oscar Al.
