There are some bad boy bugs out there, and antibiotic resistance is afoot.
Sure we treat other things, for example we have wonderful cardiac and vascular drugs and now great treatment for basic stuff like asthma,
however, antibiotics are important and development of new antibiotics for mutating and newly appearing bugs is important and must continue.
