Nothing fuels the propaganda machine like an incurable, poorly understood illness. Last I heard Alzheimer’s was caused by letting canned soda get hot. They don’t even need to fake a study, just spreading an internet rumor is enough to make a lot of people change their behavior. Gotta love the precautionary principle. What really chaffs is the thought that somebody probably donated money to these people for Alzheimer’s research and they used it to buy pizza and soda for the undergrad they made write their hit piece on DDT.
