This has nothing to do with AGW. Gore is a United States politician. Here in the states the law goes “The more your opponent’s views sound like common sense, the louder you must make your accusations of racism.” Homophobia and alcoholism are just additional traits of the dumb, racist, southern redneck archetype that northerners love to use. They seem to be blissfully unaware of the irony of using such an unfounded stereotype to call someone else prejudiced.
This is the Gore corollary to Godwin’s law. As a AGW discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving racists, homophobes and violent alcoholics approaches 1. Crikey I think Gore has finally accomplished something.
He became a billionaire because of his fear mongering. I guess it’s a hard gig to give up! He is as slimy as a person can get! His opinion means less than nothing.
Well, when you have lost the argument, all you have left is name calling. Just think, he could have been president. Scary, isn’t it?
