New oil sands panic: Potentially ‘catastrophic’ changes underway in Canada’s northern Mackenzie River Basin

A breach in winter sending tailings liquid under the ice of the tributary Athabasca River, “would be virtually impossible to remediate or clean-up,” says the report.”
