Surely we can’t keep on being so stupid. It is unbelievable that supposedly intelligent people would hardly give this a second thought, never mind waste so much money on it.
Many people in the UK use electricity for their heating. It is most in demand during the winter months. Due to the geographic location of the UK, it is typical for the sun to come up at 9:30 AM and set at 3:30 PM during the winter months. We won’t even mention their persistent overcast. It is a very unlikely place to rely on solar generation.
