  1. I’m sure you’re right, Allen. The heck of it is, there’s more real power, prestige and money in actual production of wealth than in this crock of dung. Less glamor, though, and less chance to preen.

  2. MT: It will be very difficult to end because “global warming” is not about temperature or the health of the planet and it never was. It is only about money, power and prestiege.

  3. The entire graph is also subject to where the baseline zero degree anomaly is placed. It is arbitrary; the earth has no base temperature.

  4. The hard wages of using completely unvalidated tools (GCMs) to make predictions.

I still have my old Eight Ball, if James Hansen wants it.

  5. We’ve been predicting the end of the climate con since roughly 2003. I’m astounded at what it will apparently take to actually end it.
We see in the climate arena something we see commonly in the legal arena: a prosecution announced loudly, then dropped very quietly, In a world of objective reporting, the exoneration or even the decision not to prosecute would be as newsworthy as the original charges were. Similarly, if Mann’s theory of the hockey stick was newsworthy, so are the challenges to it. If the model predictions were newsworthy, surely their falsification is also.
Or so one would think. Would like to think.
