I was less enthused when I read that he was placing a hold on McCarthy to get projects in Missouri moving, not because she is likely to make us wish for the good old days of her predecessor. McCarthy will eventually get appointed. After all, Hagel got approved even after showing himself to be utterly incompetent in his hearings.
