It is perfectly possible for an honest researcher to find new evidence that alters the previously-reported data. In which case, the researcher in question goes in front of peer and media and says, “This is what we thought last year and here’s why. This is our new data set and here’s why we changed it. Please see if you get the same results.”
Which of course lets out Hansen or Mann.
This data set is no longer usable. Corrupted by religon and politics.
