Alas, dear Coach, you are only too right.
Whoa! Didn’t see the speech, but he seems to have repeated a litany of misinformation in the hopes of overwhelming critical thought. Every time I hear someone confidently predict the decline of alarmism, I am reminded of how little fact and science play in the field of alarmism and how useful it is to politics and politics to it. They are twins.
Obama is worse than ignorant on history, the Constitution, and economics. He’s flat-out wrong on most of what he says and his errors, deliberate or foolish, have cost Americans several trillion in lost wealth, stupid programs, and future debt service costs.
So why would I think he understands anything about science? Especially climate science, an area where the real scientists acknowledge how little they know about a vast, coupled, non-linear system?
