  1. Progressives are like novice chess players. They make a move and feel oh-so-proud of themselves because they see how their action has increased their control over everybody else some microscopic amount, but they are totally incapable of visualizing how their opponents (ordinary people) are going to respond to their move.
    They are the poster children for the Law of Unintended Consequences.
