Another case of “Ready, fire, aim” syndrome. When will they learn?
What the heck is it about sweeteners? Remember the saccharine horrors? Sweetener scares are at least as old as I am, and I’m likely older than most of you. Given my advanced age and the chronic cynicism which naturally ensues, I’m suspecting the sugar industry as backing the scare-mongers. The recent campaign against High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) is another suspect move, and even includes a lawsuit brought by Big Sugar against the product.
If you bear this in mind, you’ll always be OK: News is simply advertising by other means.

The authors admitted these untenable findings may be “due entirely to chance” — just like all of the other epidemiological junkscience that comes out of Harvard weekly!!
When will they stop using their stupid Nurse Health Study and Health Professionals Study databases to report “significant health risks” — usually from diets or lifestyles popularly viewed as politically uncorrect — when the relative risks are no different from those in this study?
