EPA official Al Armendariz who rocketed to infamy last week because of 2010 comments about “crucifying” industry, resigned from the agency.

  1. If a police officer was on record saying how he wanted to shoot all drug dealers, he’d at the very least be on desk duty for the rest of his career. How much worse for stating this about the presumed innocent people he is supposed to oversee.

    I hate agents like that. They will stay for days until they find something, anything to slap you with. It’s downright shameful.

  2. He apologized to the Administrator, not to the public or the industry where he applied his philosophy.

  3. It is noteworthy that his ‘apology’ is for the words he used, and not for the tyrannical mindset they communicate. I suspect he is unrepentant.
