The awards have been instituted as a salutation to the efforts of organisations and individuals fighting climate change through their work in environment preservation and regeneration.It is an initiative by Wizcraft International and is partnered by The Energy Resources Institute (TERI) led by Nobel Laureate R K Pachauri and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
