Andrew, are you being facetious, or is it possible that you really don’t “get it”? It’s several miles of “Recreational Beach”, and it’s been PERMANENTLY closed to all non-enviro-wacko traffic. A multitude of people and businesses had been thriving on beach usage and the money spent by people visiting, and an outside enviro-wacko group has brought suit to have everyone except themselves permanently barred from any use of the beach. Not withstanding the fact that this stretch is only a few miles from another enormous section of similar beach which has been designated as a sanctuary for several years. One of the biggest complaints is that, while the beach is closed to all recreational traffic, and bird “bothering”, it is fully open to park vehicles, personnel, and enviro-wackos who drive, walk and disturb all the wildlife on a daily basis. The local bird populations were and are thriving in close proximity to the people who live there. The only this was closed was an enviro-wacko action by outsiders, who had no science, but a sympathetic “useful idiot” on he court.
I watched the video and read the articles, but I am still not clear on exactly what has been done and why. It looks like a section of beach has been closed, but how much beach? For how long? What is the reasoning involved? Right now, this is short on facts and long on editorial.
This is not a surprise. This is what happens when you have leftists in charge. The agenda is anti-human. Anything which goes against humanity advances their agenda. They, just like their heroes, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, et al. will always believe that a large part of their duty is to “Kill the Proles”. Just as these people have discovered, the “Proles” are you and I.
Welcome to totalitarianism. My heart goes out to these people and hope that these eco-terrorist will eventually be jailed and the relevant federal government employees fired, including the impeachment of federal judge.
