Is there a rain date?
From the New York Times (Nov. 18, 2007):
…”If there’s no action before 2012, that’s too late,” Pachauri said. “What we do in the next two to three years will determine our future. This is the defining moment.”
[h/t No Frakking Consensus]
Well, I guess its too late! Damn!
At Cop 15 Gore predicted that the polar ice caps could be gone by the summer of 2014. Of course he did use the word “could” which covers anything.
This was only one in a long series of “deadlines” prognosticated by the likes of Hansen, Gore, et. al. Our planetary catastrophe is long overdue according to these enviro-weenies. Reminds me of the religious groups that keep moving out their prediction for the coming tribulation. They either have no memory or no shame because they keep coming up with new dates of disaster when the old ones fail to materialize.
