suggested follow-up story is the outcome of the fire at Mitchell in the ACT Australia. The fire was at a plant where they were processing pcbs from powerline transformers. I have pictures of the smoke that was billowing from the fire since I live only a few kms away from the location.
According to the air quality reports there was nothing dangerous in the air!!
The city of Milwaukee cleaned parts of the Milwaukee river bottom feeding into Lake Michigan this past summer. Good citizens.
