Cap-and-trade further dooms California.

Investor’s Business Daily editorializes,

… The 262 pages of regulations implementing California’s 2006 global warming legislation, Assembly Bill 32, approved by CARB last Thursday, will probably reduce employment more than it reduces emissions. 1. Between CA and Australia, we now have two laboratory experiments that will likely show the folly of carbon legislation; there will be no measurable effect on global temperatures, even if one assumes that CO2 actually is the main driver of climate change, and the economies of both places will be crippled resulting in a loss of jobs and lowering of the standard of living, with the lower and middle classes being hit the hardest

  2. California has been committing economic suicide for years…It now appears to be terminal…Pull the plug…

This is true. I live in California and it seems we are doomed. Consider the smog check program. Good luck getting your car to pass smog check if it is older than five years. The bureaucrats do not want anyone to own a car
older than five years! The pollution, too much you see . .
