Dingell: Waxman-Markey is USCAP-approved
Rep. John Dingell (D-General Motors) said that the endorsement of Waxman-Markey by USCAP (i.e., our eco-industrial Big Brother) proves the bill is worthy. Dingell also threatened EPA regulation.

Rep. Rick Boucher (D-VA) said that if Congress didn’t vote for Waxman-Markey, EPA would regulate CO2 under the Clean Air Act — i.e., with little consideration for economics.

Rep. Joe Barton just said during House debate that 400 NEW pages (actually 309 pages) to Waxman-Markey were printed at 2am this morning! Waxman-Markey is now 1,500-pages in length.
Barton added that the House has spent more time debating ceremonial resolutions than the 3 hours it will spend debating Waxman-Markey.
