John Christy Corrects

John Christy, Boss of the Weather and Satellite studies program at Huntsville, says it’s not that good.

We thought Christy, Richard Lindzen (MIT Climate expert) and Judith Curry (Georgia Tech Climate expert), all critical of warming modeling and assertions, were going to be on the climate science review panel for the American Physical Society, but NOOOOOO. They are going to be allowed to present.

That means the whole panel will be warmers, and they will be pressured by a Board that is warmers.

I have no information from anyone that the APS has any warming skeptics anywhere near a position influence the outcome.

Assume that more than 20 billion spent to promote warming ideas by the US Government every year is being spent to fund those in the APS who do climate type research, or to fund those who do it who are colleagues of the APS people.

Do we call that a rigged game? Why yes we do.

  1. I was surprise when I first read that John Christy, Richard Lindzen and Judith Curry were going to be on the climate science review panel for the American Physical Society. I thought about it for awhile and decided it would NEVER happen; so I was RIGHT.

“Science” must never tolerate dissent, especially climate “science”.

  2. daveburton: Sad is a gross understatement! It is an outright catastrophy that the country that produced the majority of Nobel price winners in natural sciences acts that way. No other discipline in natural science would allow the presence of such outright crooks as climate “science” does!

  3. They thought that there was a thawing in relations when they were invited to dinner. Until they discovered that they WERE the dinner!

  4. Sounds like an inquisition. They can be present, but they can’t testify or protest. And if they refuse, that’s an act of heresy. Nothing good comes from this “panel” and the only reason you might make a joke is because it’s so bad all you can do is laugh.

  5. My hope of another science leaving the fold of the “97%” have faded with this news. One slim hope, will their questions be considered by the panel in an open way? By the APS membership?
