New York City/New Jersey subway PM2.5 levels 77 times greater than EPA standards; No bodies found

A new study reports on PM2.5 (soot/dust) levels in subway stations. The New York City and New Jersey PATH system had a mean level of 779 micrograms per cubic meter — 65 times higher than the EPA’s outdoor air standard of 12 micrograms per cubic meter. The highest level measured (1,499 micrograms per cubic meter) is almost 50% higher than the worst air in any Chinese city that we know about. Onboard air quality PM2.5 measurements were lower but still on average 30 times higher than EPA standards. In 2018, PATH carried 81.7 million passengers, about 280,000 per week day. Keeping in mind that the EPA says that any exposure to PM2.5 can kill you within hours, where are the bodies? Why aren’t governments calling for an immediate shutdown of subway service? Recall that Harvard researchers just claimed this week that PM2.5 kills more than 8 million people per year and much lower outdoor air exposures. PM2.5 is the biggest demonstrable science fraud of our time.

HUGE WINNING… EPA will not tighten PM2.5 air quality standards

JunkScience.com and friends — including Steve Milloy, Jim Enstrom, Stan Young, John Dunn and others — have worked for more than 20 years to achieve this result. A Biden administration will undoubtedly try to overturn this decision. So we will have to continue fighting the PM2.5 fraudsters. Meantime, this is a BIG win. Biden EPA to regulate farm and construction dust PM2.5

JunkScience.com readers will remember that the Obama-Biden EPA was considering regulating farm dust PM2.5 — recall PM2.5 is soot and dust. Only farmer blowback ahead of the 2012 election stopped the Obama-Biden EPA. A new study (falsely) attributes one-half of (imaginary) PM2.5 deaths to agriculture and construction dust. Rest assured a Biden administration would impose (expensive and pointless) PM2.5 limits on those operations.

Harvard Air Pollution-COVID-19 Study Gets Smoked

My column at CNSNews.com. (Web | PDF)

Harvard’s Francesca Dominci, the ‘researcher’ behind the always false and now thoroughly discredited claim that PM2.5 worsens COVID-19 outcomes.

Milloy testifies to EPA on proposed cost-benefit analysis revamp

My comments from today’s public testimony before EPA on its proposed cost-benefit overhaul. On a comical note, the enviro woman who testified before me criticized EPA for taking comments over the phone vs. by video… because phone testimony prevented EPA staff from seeing her tears and prevented her from seeing that EPA staff was being appropriately affected by her (stupid) testimony.

Boom: Harvard PM2.5-COVID-19 study destroyed by study on smoking and COVID-19

The recent Harvard Howler study claiming to link PM2.5 in outdoor air with increased risk of death from COVID-19 was always obvious junk science. And that reality is now underscored by this new study showing an inverse relationship between smoking and death from COVID-19.

Milloy testimony to EPA on the proposed freeze of PM2.5 air quality standards

EPA is taking live public comment today and tomorrow on the Trump EPA proposal to leave the current PM2.5 standards where they are. Here is my oral testimony.
