To ChatGPT: Write an essay on climate from Steve Milloy’s point of view

Here’s what ChatGPT produced when I asked to write an essay from my perspective on climate. Not too bad, except for the end. I do not think that deforestation or water pollution are pressing environmental problems. ChatGPT just made that up. I suppose the last graph is executed by the climate narrative do-loop.

  1. “Not too bad”?? It was uniformly “Steve the idiot believes X, but the truth is not-X”. Gad! I cannot imagine the actual “thinking” behind that essay other than “only support the narrative”.

If we actually HAD “AI”, the process would search exhaustively, and weigh the physics, and at least come up with some new explanation against skeptics. Oh, and you would teach a car to drive the same way your mama taught you, instead of engaging armies of programmers to teach a Tesla to slide off the road when the lines were missing, or how to slam into a fire truck parked on the shoulder….

    Where’s Eliza?

  2. Tough luck, Steve…..
