Poking fun at SEC climate idiocy, Commissioner Peirce noted she was turning of her video, saying: “My statement is rather lengthy, so I will turn my video off as I speak; by one estimate, doing so will reduce the carbon footprint of my presentation on this platform by 96 percent.”

Milloy gets another win at the SEC: Verizon must allow shareholders to vote on ‘Communist China Audit’ shareholder proposal
I defeated Verizon and its white shoe law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on my “Communist China Audit” shareholder proposal. The proposal calls for Verizon to disclosure to shareholders how much its business depends on Communist China. The significance of this win is that public-owned companies may now be compelled to allow their shareholders to vote for this disclosure. A short explanation of why this is important is here.
