North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality chief Michael Regan, Joe Biden’s nominee to be U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) chief, was interviewed in August 2018 by WBTV (Charlotte, NC) about when he was going to take action against chemical company Chemours, then illegally discharging chemicals into the Cape Fear River.
