The recent “Harvard Howler” trying to link PM2.5 with COVID-19 deaths was funded by money Harvard received from the Obama EPA.
Here’s the study funding acknowledgement.
Francesca Dominici (pictured above) was a lead investigator of the study and a principal investigator on the Obama EPA grants.
Here are the EPA grants:
- The 83587201-0 grant is here. It was issued by Obama EPA in 2015. Worth $10 million.
- The RD-83479801 grant is here. Initially issued by the Obama EPA in 2011 and lasted until the end of 2016 at $7.9 million.
I haven’t chased down the NIH grants yet. As far as the HEI grant is concerned, HEI is 50% funded by EPA and the rest by the car, truck and oil industries (for a variety of reasons).
