High water and/or flooding may be a future problem for Seattle, but it won’t because of sea-level rise so much as subsidence.
First, here is what the NOAA tidal gauge data shows for Seattle for the past 120 years or so… it’s been about 8-9 inches… nothing unusual.
But as is the case with many coastal areas, manmade activity (land use, groundwater withdrawal) is making Seattle subside. Check out this 2016 study:
