I do not think there is any other field of engineering where common sense has been so thrown out as it now has in Germany. What are the corresponding disasters that have occurred in German nuclear plants? As if the Enrgiewende and the Volkswagen scandal have not stressed economy enough already! This is like forbidding motor cars in Sahara because reportedly cars in Northern Scandinavia have broken down in the winter when the owner has filled it with ordinary tap water and the radiator has frozen.
