Pesticides: Economic nonsense?

But “no disease has ever been documented that stems from legal applications of pesticides,” a prominent anti-pesticide activist has admitted.

Here’s more on the admission from Mt. Sinai’s Phil Landrigan.

I believe (not entirely certain) I came across this quote from Landrigan in the BNA Daily Environment Report coverage of the 1993 National Research Council report “Pesticides in the Diets of Infants and Children.”

  1. Health nannies have a cow over pesticides even when used according to directions, but they are silent about the dangers of illegal drugs, meth in particular, which can contaminate the house where it is manufactured or even used. And the risk is hundreds of times greater because meth is used far more frequently than all pesticides.
