No… evening fasting does not reduce breast cancer risk

Several points to make here:

  1. This is a novel finding. one study does not make for science.
  2. The finding is dubious because the increase (36%) is well within the range of statistical noise.
  3. The researchers don’t actually know how much or when the women ate. Self -reported data is highly unreliable.
  4. There is no biological explanation for the result.

  1. Study probably done by really skinny vegans.
What is next is for government to close all restaurants after 6 PM, and to fund more research to prove it. Expect all sorts of non-profits to also get government and foundation funding.
