  1. That 20 to 30 feet higher MSL represents a time with 2° warmer global average temperature, with NO permanent glaciers except Antarctica and *parts* of Greenland, and thus nearly the Maximum possible sea level. It seems Homo sapiens did well in the Eemian, although H. neanderthalensis did not.

  2. Let’s see. 25′ above sea level. Sea levels rising 6″ per century (according to tidal gauges). That’s 50 centuries before the Miami financial district goes under, assuming no intervening Ice Age.
