This sounds like simple intimidation – all stick, no carrot. If so the ‘climate campaigners’ seem to have an unjustifiable inflated opinion of their political clout.
Remember the Golden Rule: those who have the gold make the rules. At the moment the ‘shady’ Czech firms seem to have the gold, and the wits to keep it.
