Beyond milkweed: Monarchs face habitat, nectar threats

For the last couple of years, activists have been telling us that Monarchs are about to go extinct because farmers are planting GMO corn fence post to fence post and using glyphosate to kill the Monarch’s favored milkweed. Sounds plausible…but turns out it’s not true.

  1. Much of what you observe is aspiring Monarch’s. I agree, nature will prevail.

  2. I have been on my site for over forty years and this year have seen more Monarch’s than ever before so I am suspecting that as are many things in nature, subject to cycles.
