  1. More massaged “data” from those who profit from lying.

    The real data actually shows just the opposite.

  2. Reporting bias: the raw data on earlier tornadoes precedes the use of Nexrad radar detection of numerous F0/EF0 tornadoes that would have been missed by older observation methods. Nexrad was first turned on in 1992.
    Result: No trend in the numbers of F1/EF1 through F5/EF5s, but an increase in the weakest category ONLY.
