  1. It would be a permanent preserve of blackberry vines, with some patches of morning-glory, if my backyard is any indication. What these twits don’t realize is that Nature needs to be tamed and cultivated and beaten back, or bye-bye biodiversity.

  2. This nutter is the Federal Reserve subsidized real estate industry’s best friend.

He’s already got his, so damn the rest of us.

    Note:

In the US west of the Mississippi River, 50% percent of all land is government ‘owned’.

  3. Anything done with half-measures shortchanges the benefits of either option and accepts the problems wrought by both.
There is no new wilderness being created, but it is continually being converted. Even the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki have been rebuilt as habitable zones after being nuked.
Eventually 100% of the earth will be converted from ‘wilderness’ to the service of humanity.
As God told Adam and Eve (in the ‘original ‘ commandment): “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it”.

  4. We can start with the plot of land every single AGW advocate lives on as a start.
This will be their contribution to halting AGW by acting as an example for the rest of us.
