Now that they see how honey bees (a commercial business) is on the rise, they are targeting wild bees which are much more subject to lack of foraging sites due to development. The biggest problem for bees is the varroa mite which also introduce viral infections. But since it is so easy to target the use of pesticides, activists and politicians focus on the use of treated seed imposing the loss onto farmers. Too easy to do and very little consequences since the farming population only represents 1.6% of the pop.
How has the lack of pollination manifested itself? I only ask because to the naked eye everything looks like it is pollinating along quite happily.
