Hasn’t been seen since 2006 / range is limited to 100 miles radius of Medford, OR / most sightings have been in National Forest lands / known to prefer wildflowers (lupin, California poppy, horsemint) / agriculturally almost irrelevant
1st Franklin’s Bumblebees’ habitat is only a 190 mile by 70 mile strip along the coast from northern CA. to southern Oregon.
2nd the 11 counties in northern CA are some of the least populated, they share one state senator between them
3 Drought?
4. Don;t know abut Oregon as I have no knowledge of the population there.
